Meet Dr. Seema Vaid
School of Business
Following the path to her heart's true calling
Even as a child, Seema Vaid's natural curiosity and communicative personality foretold of her future as a teacher. Time, dedication and world travel have contributed to the evolution from the "pretend classrooms" of her youth to the richly rewarding Virtual Classrooms she now commands at Colorado Tech Online's School of Business.
When not preparing students for successful climbs up their desired career ladders, Seema herself enjoys a little hiking in the glorious natural settings provided by Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park and Mount Shasta. In more contemplative times, she enjoys singing and listening to classical Indian music.

Colorado Tech Online professors are real people who lead interesting, active lives. Their professional experience, personal interests and overwhelming sense of dedication to their students combine to make them people worth knowing, teachers worthy of your consideration.
Project-oriented curricula mirrors real-world projects
Dr. Vaid believes Colorado Tech Online's modeling of its curricula on real-world deliverables provides students with an advantage. "Our course structure allows students to focus on one course at a time, typically in conjunction with one big group project and several independent projects. To me, this structure very accurately portends the multitasking required in today's real-world careers."
Of Colorado Tech Online's many advantages, Dr. Vaid grades the university's flexibility as a key benefit to students. "It's the biggest advantage we offer our students, especially those who need to juggle such responsibilities as full-time jobs and family responsibilities while they pursue their degrees."
Seema Vaid has educated students on three different continents after amassing numerous academic credentials of her own. She earned her Ph.D., MBA and her Bachelor's degree in Business in her native India. Now a permanent resident of the United States, she received her Certificate in Online Teaching in 2002 from Cerro Coso Community College in Bishop, California. University.
