Colorado Tech Online Faculty

Meet Dr. David Wile
School of Information Technology

Dovetailing hands-on experience with online education

Like any accomplished handyman, Dr. David Wile appreciates the sense of satisfaction brought about by a successful plumbing, electrical or dry walling project. But this multi-skilled woodworking enthusiast derives a far greater pleasure from using his hands to build something solid and meaningful from scratch... library shelves, for example.

At the end of the day, when the router bits and finishing screws have been stowed away, Wile takes refuge in his home library which now accommodates more than 1,000 books. The 30-year retired Air Force officer also delights in the company of his loving grandchildren.
