My decision to complete my education came when I obtained a human resources position. I was the only one in the department at the entry level with only an associate's degree. I was told that there was no room for advancement unless someone left. At that time, it was fine with me because I had finally got my foot in the door in the HR field.

Soon, however, it became clearer to me that I did not want to be where I was for the rest of my life. I wanted more professionally. I knew I had to do something quick. After weighing all my options, I found Colorado Technical University Online.

Since I already had an associate's degree, I was put on track to have my [bachelor's] degree completed in 15 months! I could hardly believe it! I live about an hour away from a four-year university and I have to keep a full-time job; enrolling as a part-time student just didn't sit well with me. I didn't want to be in school for five more years for a bachelor's degree-plus miss out on time with my family.

The entire experience, from enrollment to graduation, has been nothing but awesome. It's very difficult to find university professors and staff who will go the whole nine yards in every aspect of the education process.
