What does it take to be a member of the Colorado Tech Online
Alumni Association?
Anyone who has graduated from the Colorado Tech Online is considered part of the
Alumni Association.
What are the benefits of the Alumni Association?
The Alumni Association is constantly looking for new and exciting opportunities
for our graduates as well as ways to keep them active in the association. Below
are a few of the benefits of being an alumnus:
- Access to a Colorado Tech Online email account
- Access to Career Services Department
- Alumni discounts
Retrieving transcripts from Colorado Tech Online is an easy process. If you recently
graduated and you have yet to receive your diploma, you will find two official transcripts
enclosed with your diploma. If you need to request an additional official or unofficial
transcript, please follow the steps below. Please note that the transcripts will
not be released if the student has an outstanding financial obligation to the University.
How to request unofficial transcripts.
- Log in to the Virtual Campus (http://mycampus.ctuonline.com).
- Click on "Academics."
- Click on "Transcript Request."
- Click on "Unofficial."
- Click "Generate Transcript."
A copy of the unofficial transcripts will appear in a PDF file that you can print
or save.
How to request official transcripts.
- Log in to the Virtual Campus (http://mycampus.ctuonline.com).
- Click on "Academics."
- Click on "Transcript Request."
- Click on "Official" and wait for the page to load.
- Type in the address where the transcripts should be sent (e.g., a place of employment).
- Select a payment type. There is a $3 charge for transcripts delivered by regular
mail and a $10 charge for transcripts that require next-day delivery. Payment can
be made via a credit card or bank account.
Please note that a student may not request a diploma any earlier than the scheduled
graduation date. Diplomas are shipped 6 to 8 weeks after graduation. They are delivered
via DHL with two official transcripts. If you have not received your diploma, it
could be due to a "diploma hold." Graduates are placed in a diploma hold group if
they meet the following conditions:
- Ledger balance is greater than the amount of cash payments scheduled
- Graduate is late on cash payment plan
- Balance is written off and sent to our outside collection agency
- Graduate is placed on an out-of-school payment plan
The purpose of this group is to ensure all financial obligations have been met before
a diploma is issued. For more information on this policy, please see the
Colorado Tech Online catalog.
- Call 1-866-813-1836
- Choose Option 2.
- Inform the Technical Support representative that you need to request your username.
- The Technical Support representative will email your username and password.
- Go to the Virtual Campus (http://mycampus.ctuonline.com).
- Click on "Forgot Password."
- Enter your username.

- Click on "Submit."
