Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program
Students with College Credit and Military Experience
Colorado Tech Online students with no previous college experience can complete the
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in about 2½ years. For students
who have had some college or military experience, the Colorado Tech Online Baccalaureate
Degree Completion Program is designed to allow you to earn your degree faster. Under
this program, students who have earned an Associate's degree or the equivalent at
an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education
may be accepted for block transfer into the BSBA degree program and apply their
credits toward their Bachelor's degree requirements.
The 2+2 Bachelor Degree program assumes that all Associate-level requirements have
been met through an Associate degree or the equivalent and could be completed in
less than 2 and ½ years.
Students can have their transcripts and work history evaluated for advanced standing
opportunities and may be able to earn academic credit for the following:
- College credit earned at an accredited postsecondary institution
- Military Credit for training or Military Occupational Specialty
- CLEP, AP, DSST or other standardized assessment results
- Professional Training/Certification credit demonstrating learning outside of a traditional
college setting
- Experiential Learning demonstrating subject-matter mastery through documented work
experience of 5 years or more
Students have the opportunity to enter the Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program
at three entry points (freshman, sophomore or junior level) based on transfer credit
and the advanced standing options noted above.
