Colorado Tech Online's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with
a concentration in International Business focuses on recognizing global differences
and applying sensitivity to cultural diversity issues in communications, management,
marketing, and the legal aspects of global business operations. In today's ever-changing
business environment, is designed to prepare organizational leaders with the industry-current
knowledge and must have the skills to extend their businesses across national and
international borders.
Students will have opportunities to absorb pertinent knowledge and meaningful perspectives
from instructors who have real-world professional experience in the exciting, growing
field of international business.
In addition to important undergraduate foundation studies, the emphasis of this
program is to provide students with the knowledge tomorrow's business leaders will
need to be successful in a global economy. Topics of study include: communications
and negotiations, critical thinking processes, ethical codes of conduct for global
business leaders, marketing strategies, and management practices and processes.
This degree program is designed to prepare students to pursue career opportunities
in Consulting, Account Management, Marketing Project Management, Business Development,
Distribution Management, and numerous other related fields.

Colorado Tech Online students with no previous college or military training can
complete the BSBA degree program online in about 2 1/2 years. Students with prior
college credit, military experience or an Associate's degree may be eligible for
the Colorado Tech Online
Baccalaureate Degree Completion
Program. In some cases, this may shorten the length of the program to 15
months*.
CTU Academic Certificates Included in This
Degree Program
Students will also earn three CTU Academic Certificates as they work towards the
completion of the Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration
in International Business. These résumé-enhancing certificates are
built into the degree program without adding any additional courses or cost. Professional
Certificates offer students a means by which to progressively add to students' educational
achievements as they learn and gain new skills. This degree program includes the

Business in the Global Environment
This certificate focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to manage effectively
in a global, diverse business environment. You will develop the global viewpoint
appropriate for the business and technology leaders of today.
Business Fundamentals
This certificate provides a common body of knowledge related to business, human
resources, marketing and technology. The focus is on sharpening students' management
skills and their understanding of basic business tools required to succeed in today's
dynamic business environments.
Global Operations Management
This certificate aims at developing leaders by giving them the basic tools necessary
to manage global enterprises. Students gain insight into the unique challenges that
managers face while operating in the global marketplace and learn how various legal,
economical, ethical and cultural systems affect business attitudes, norms, behaviors,
practices and philosophies.
*The 15-month Bachelor's degree is a 2+2 program and assumes that all associate-level requirements have been met through an Associate's degree or the equivalent. CTU Online students with no previous college experience can complete this degree in about 2 ½ years.
